a Chilled Fluer Grenache

Is Chilled Red The Next Thing?

Who says you need to drink red at room temperature?

It might have once been a rule in the wine world, but we’ve broken it with our new collection.

On a hot day, a glass of red wine is probably the last thing most Australians reach for, but it shouldn’t be. The Tempus Two Fleur Series is designed to push the boundaries of wine serving expectations, resulting in drinkable and approachable fruit-forward drops. Fleur Grenache is an adaptable red that can be chilled down and enjoyed like a Rosé or let it warm to room temperature for a light-bodied, generous table red.

The vibrant palate of red berry fruits with subtle, soft tannins and an overarching refreshing quality makes Fleur Grenache the perfect bottle to take with you anywhere, from barbecues to birthday parties. Enjoy on its own, as an aperitif or pair with summer salads, Thai food or tapas. It’s essentially two wines in one and designed to be enjoyed on your terms, the way you like - not what the rules tell you.

If you’re interested in trying the chilled wine trend, here are our quick tips for chilling red wines:

1. Place the bottle in an ice bucket filled with ice and some water for about 10-15 minutes.

2. Pop it in the fridge for 25-30 minutes; set a timer so you don’t forget to remove it.

3. If you’re in a hurry, 8-10 minutes in the freezer will suffice, but more gentle methods are preferable.

4. Use an ice bucket to keep the temperature low once it’s out of the fridge or freezer.
